Come Celebrate Closing Day!

There’s something special about this time of year. Longer days, softer turns, and that feeling that you want to squeeze in just one more lap.

As we head into the final stretch of the 2025/26 season, we’re inviting you to come soak it all in with us one last time. We’ve officially announced that Saturday, March 28th, will be our final day of operations for the 2025/26 season. We’ll be closed Wednesday through Friday this week, which means just one more day! It’s your last chance to get those turns in and enjoy the mountain before we call it a season. It’s always a little bittersweet, but if there’s one thing we know how to do at Blacktail, it’s go out in style. We’re going out with an action packed day you won’t want to miss!

Saturday is Telefestivus 2026. You’ll find demos from 22 Designs and Scarpa, sponsored by Rocky Mountain Outfitter. Flathead Avalanche will be slopeside grilling up hot dogs while they last. Add in live music from billyBillie, a duet and splinter band of the always amazing 20 Grand, and you’ve got all the ingredients for a perfect spring day on the mountain. And because it wouldn’t be closing weekend without a little Blacktail tradition, we’re also celebrating Mama Mingo Day. Expect pink flamingos popping up all over the mountain, a scavenger hunt with 50 hidden flamingos, and prizes scattered throughout the day. Somewhere out there, one golden flamingo is waiting to be found… and if you’re the one who spots it, you’ll be walking away with a 2026/27 season pass. 

Look for end-of-season discounts in the Trading Company retail shop, fun specials at Blacktail Bean Coffee, and food and drink specials up in Muley’s Bar & Grill. It’s the kind of day that reminds you why we all love this place.
