Private Lessons
Individualized instruction is the best way to progress and learn. Our experienced instructors can tailor a lesson to meet your goals and take your skills to the next level. Rentals and lift access (RFID) are sold separately.
Who: Ages 3+ and any level of skier or snowboarder.
When: Offered as available in one, two, or three-hour blocks, as available. Online reservations, when available, close 24 hours in advance.
Where: Private lessons meet in Never Ever Land (located outside at the red schoolhouse sign).
Price:
- 1 hour – $110
- 2 hour – $165
- 3 hour – $220
How To Purchase: One, Two, or Three-Hour Private Lessons are available to purchase day of at the Ticket Window on the mountain. All cancellations must be made 24 hours prior to the start time of your lesson.
Time Slots: Every hour on the hour, as available.

Group Lessons
Group lessons are offered at the Ticket Window Only for both skiing and snowboarding. Whether it’s your first time on snow or you are an experienced learner, we will help take you to the next level. These are 90-minute classes, offered daily as available. Lessons must be purchased at least 30 minutes prior to the lesson time.
Group Basic:
- Includes a 90-minute lesson for all levels of skiers (ages 5+) and snowboarders (ages 8+).
- Lift access and rentals are sold separately.

Skill Builder Package:
- Includes a 90-minute lesson for all levels of skiers (ages 5+) and snowboarders (ages 8+)
- Full-day rental, and full-day lift access included.

- Lessons go out at 9:30am, 11:45am, and 2:00pm

Ladies Clinics
What could be more fun than a ladies’ day on the slopes of Blacktail?! Ladies Clinics are a great way to make new friends while improving turns on your favorite runs. Come and ski in a supportive and fun group with our PSIA certified instructors. These clinics are great for those who have experience skiing but are looking to hone some skills, increase your confidence, get outside and have fun! At the end of the afternoon, we invite you up to Muley’s Bar & Grill (located on the 3rd floor of The Lodge) to share a drink together (on us) and enjoy a live performance by local artists each week for our Mountaintop Music from 3pm until 5pm. Ladies Clinics are every Friday through March.
