**Operations Update – Olympic Chair is under going maintenance and will be closed for approximately 30 minutes. Thunderhead Chair and runs are open to mid-mountain. We will update the report when Olympic is underway.**

It is currently 13 degrees with winds of 1-3 miles per hour out of the north and visibility is unlimited. We have opened Thunderhead, and the snow across the mountain is cold and light, with plenty of new powder still to be found. It’s cold smoke! On the groomed slopes, expect holding and crisp tracking snow that is carving well and comfortable for short and long turns. Reporters choice this morning are Radar and Lakeside. It’s a sunscreen, UV lenses, and layers type of day – and hydrate. Colder weather calls for breaks in between runs and today is no exception.

Good Morning Snow Riders,
This is Jessi with your Blacktail Mountain Report for Thursday, February 19th. It is currently 16 degrees with winds of 0-5 miles per hour and visibility is unlimited. Groomers are reporting 1 inch of new snow overnight and a settled base of 35 inches. We will be sliding today on packed powder and machine groomed runs with the Magic Carpet, Thunderhead, and Olympic lifts in operation.
We continue to ski on the top half of the mountain, Thunderhead skiers and riders will load at the midway station. Please obey all ropelines and closures they are in place for your safety. We continue to assess the lower mountain as conditions improve.
It’s Thrifty Thursday today, ski all day for just $39 when you purchase your lift tickets ONLINE.

- The Olympic Chair, Thunderhead Chair and the Magic Carpet are scheduled for operation from 9am to 4pm.

- Ticket prices are are $39 for a mid-week win when you purchase them ONLINE
- Muley’s Bar will be open 10:30 am-5 pm, the Grill 10:30-4 pm, Mighty Bites Cafeteria and Blacktail Bean (located in the cafeteria) will be open 8 am-4 pm.
- The rental shop will be open from 8:30 am-4 pm.
- The Blacktail Trading Co. retail shop will be open from 9:00 am-4:30 pm.
- Snow Sports Lessons are available at the window 30 minutes prior to the start of the lesson and there is availability online for future dates.
