It is currently 12 degrees at the summit under blue skies and light wind conditions with unlimited visibility. We are underway with fresh turns across the mountain this morning and new snow overnight providing a solid springtime base. Smooth and soft corduroy with confident carving and floaty, cold, boot-deep powder in the glades and bowls. Reporter’s Choice this morning are Snowblower and Pochelon’s Powder.

This is Jessi with your Blacktail Mountain Report for Sunday, March 15th. It is currently 10 degrees with winds of 0-5 miles per hour and unlimited visibility. Groomers are reporting 6 inches of new snow in the last 24 hours with just a couple overnight and a settled base of 49 inches. We will be sliding today on powder, packed powder and machine groomed runs with the Magic Carpet, Thunderhead, Crystal and Olympic lifts in operation.
Blacktail has changed RFID systems, please pick up your new RFID cards in the lobby today. We are wrapping up spirit week today with Safari Sunday! Dress in your safari best. We are looking forward to another fantastic day on the mountain.

Daily Details
- The Olympic Chair, Thunderhead Chair and the Magic Carpet are scheduled for operation from 9am to 4pm. Crystal lift is scheduled to operate from 9 AM to 3 pm
- Daily lift tickets and rentals are available to purchase ONLINE. Save time by creating your account and making purchases on our e-store.
- Tickets today are $65 for Adults (25-69), $55 for Young Adults (18-24), $50 for Teens (13-17), $40 for Children (8-12), $40 for Seniors (70+), and $10 Season Pass for Tiny Tots (7 & under) and 5th Graders.
- Muley’s Bar will be open 10:30 am-5 pm, the Grill 10:30-4 pm, Mighty Bites Cafeteria and Blacktail Bean (located in the cafeteria) will be open 8 am-4 pm.
- The rental shop will be open from 8:30 am-4 pm.
- The Blacktail Trading Co. retail shop will be open from 9:00 am-4:30 pm.
- Snow Sports Lessons are available at the window 30 minutes prior to the start of the lesson and there is availability online for future dates.
