It is currently 37 degrees at the summit with winds out of the south south east at 5-10 miles per hour with unlimited visibility. With runs already complete on Radar and Emmons Ridge, the snow conditions are consistently softer and ungroomed with a packed powder base. Warm, wet, and sticky snow on top, classic springtime vibes. Your layers should be as accessible as the snow will be today, be ready to change things up as the weather progresses and for the snow to soften for cruiser laps. This is Jessi with your Blacktail Mountain Report for Wednesday, March 18th. It is currently 35 degrees with winds of 5-10 miles per hour out of the west, and visibility is unlimited. Groomers are reporting no new snow and a settled base of 45 inches. We will be sliding today on packed powder and spring conditions with the Magic Carpet, Thunderhead, and Olympic lifts in operation.
Temperatures did climb this week and delivered some wet conditions on the hill. We are skiing on the top half of the mountain today. Patrol will assess the lower mountain first thing. Please obey all ropelines and closures they are in place for your safety.

- The Blacktail Trading Co. retail shop will be open from 9:00 am-4:30 pm.
- Snow Sports Lessons are available at the window 30 minutes prior to the start of the lesson and there is availability online for future dates.
