Good Morning Snow Riders,
This is Jessi with your Blacktail Mountain Report for Saturday, January 10th. It is currently 21 degrees with winds of 5-10 miles per hour out of the west and visibility is unlimited. Groomers are reporting no new snow and a settled base of 29 inches. We will be sliding today on packed powder and machine groomed runs with all lifts in operation.
Crystal country is open, and we continue to ski on the top half of the east side of the mountain, Thunderhead skiers and riders will load at the midway station, we continue to assess that terrain daily and will open it as soon as conditions allow. Early season conditions exist, please obey all ropelines and closures they are in place for your safety.
Today is the first Saturday of our Multi-Week programs, we can’t wait to see all of those families back on the slopes. You can double check your registration by logging into your Blacktail account.

Daily Details
- The Olympic Chair, Thunderhead Chair and the Magic Carpet are scheduled for operation from 9am to 4pm. Crystal lift is scheduled to operate from 9 AM to 3 pm
- Daily lift tickets and rentals are available to purchase ONLINE. Save time and money by creating your account and making purchases on our e-store.
- Tickets today are $85 for Adults (25-69), $75 for Young Adults (18-24), $70 for Teens (13-17), $60 for Children (8-12), $40 for Seniors (70+), and $10 Season Pass for Tiny Tots (7 & under) and 5th Graders.
- Muley’s Bar will be open 10:30 am-5 pm, the Grill 10:30-4 pm, Mighty Bites Cafeteria and Blacktail Bean (located in the cafeteria) will be open 8 am-4 pm.
- The rental shop will be open from 8:30 am-4 pm.
- The Blacktail Trading Co. retail shop will be open from 9:00 am-4:30 pm.
- Snow Sports Lessons are available at the window 30 minutes prior to the start of the lesson and there is availability online for future dates.
