Crystal Country will remain closed today. Thunderhead and Olympic lifts will operate from 9 am until 4 pm. Blacktail is open seven days a week now through January 2nd.
6:45 am Update
With wet conditions, we have decided on a delayed start for Crystal this morning. Thunderhead and Olympic lifts will operate as scheduled and we will make an assessment on Crystal after patrol has opened the rest of the ski area and made a full assessment.

It is currently 32 degrees with winds of 5-10 miles per hour and visibility reduced to 200 yards due to continued snow fall. Grooming was limited last night with wet conditions. The forecast is calling for cooling temperatures today and into the evening, it is currently snowing. Blacktail will be open seven days a week now through January 2nd for the holiday season with lifts spinning from 9:00 am until 4:00 pm daily. - Muley’s Bar & Grill (10:30 am-5 pm), Mighty Bites Cafeteria (8 am-3 pm) will be open.
- The rental shop will be open from 8 am-4 pm.
- The Blacktail Trading Co. retail shop and Blacktail Bean will be open from 8 am-5 pm.
- Snowsports Lessons will be available on a limited basis. There are a select number of products available for online bookings, for all other lessons, please check in at the Ticket Office at least 15 minutes prior to scheduled lesson times.
