We hope you’ve been enjoying your time on the mountain so far this season! Our team has been working tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure that the Thunderhead lift is in top shape for the season. We’re thrilled to share that the new motor is arriving today, and our dedicated maintenance crew is focused on replacing it and getting the lift ready for operations as soon as possible.
In the meantime, we’ve been excited to open Crystal Country for extra terrain over the last few days. As you know, Blacktail Mountain relies entirely on natural snow, and to help preserve the snow, Crystal Country will be closed on Monday and Tuesday.
The Olympic Chair and the Magic Carpet are scheduled for operations, so you can get your turns in while keeping those snow dances going! Thank you for your support as we prepare for what’s sure to be an amazing holiday week.
