It is currently 30 degrees with winds at 4 miles per hour out of the North North West. Conditions have returned to blue skies and warmer, leading to softer conditions on the groomed slopes and in the bowls and glades. Lakeside and Emmons Ridge are still firm and fast, Radar is pushy but carve-able and Olympic runs are consistently smooth. Have a great afternoon on the mountain!

Good morning Blacktail Mountain Riders and Gliders, we’re underway under clear blue skies, light winds at 4-5 miles per hour out of the North North West, and 26 degrees- so layer up, bring those UV lenses for your goggles, and join us for another great day on the mountain!
The grooming team has set up the runs nicely and worked in these colder overnight temperatures to create firm, fast corduroy off of Thunderhead and Olympic. Reporters choice is Lakeside and Emmons Ridge, with Radar in the sun already it will soften up as the day progresses-time to carve some turns and get your vertical feet in today. There’s still some fresh snow and turns to be found in the trees, explore and find yours!

This is Jessi with your Blacktail Mountain Report for Thursday, February 12th. It is currently 25 degrees with winds of 0-5 miles per hour and visibility unlimited. Groomers are reporting new snow and a settled base of 25 inches. We will be sliding today on packed powder and machine groomed runs with the Magic Carpet, Thunderhead, and Olympic lifts in operation.
We continue to ski on the top half of the mountain, Thunderhead skiers and riders will load at the midway station. Please obey all ropelines and closures they are in place for your safety.
It’s Thrifty Thursday today, ski all day for just $39 when you purchase your lift tickets ONLINE.

- The Olympic Chair, Thunderhead Chair and the Magic Carpet are scheduled for operation from 9am to 4pm.

- Ticket prices are are $39 on when you purchase them ONLINE
- Muley’s Bar will be open 10:30 am-5 pm, the Grill 10:30-4 pm, Mighty Bites Cafeteria and Blacktail Bean (located in the cafeteria) will be open 8 am-4 pm.
- The rental shop will be open from 8:30 am-4 pm.
- The Blacktail Trading Co. retail shop will be open from 9:00 am-4:30 pm.
- Snow Sports Lessons are available at the window 30 minutes prior to the start of the lesson and there is availability online for future dates.
