We are currently at 25 degrees with variable winds of 2-5 miles per hour out of the South South West with variable visibility in a dynamic weather pattern. The new overnight snow has settled on top of groomed runs off of Thunderhead and Olympic, with accumulations of 2-4″ wind-blown snow found across the glades and bowls. It’s pillowy and making for confident carving turns! Reporter’s choice this morning are Meadow and Pochelon’s Powder, and continue to watch for marked and un-marked off-piste hazards. Improving light conditions, keep the clear lenses on until mid-day and enjoy a beautiful day on Blacktail Mountain!

This is Jessi with your Blacktail Mountain Report for Saturday, February 14th. It is currently 24 degrees with winds of 0-5 miles per hour and visibility is at 400 yards due to continuing snowfall. Groomers are reporting 2 inches of new snow since our last report and a settled base of 26 inches. We will be sliding today on packed powder and machine groomed runs with the Magic Carpet, Thunderhead, and Olympic lifts in operation.
We continue to ski on the top half of the mountain, Thunderhead skiers and riders will load at the midway station. Please obey all ropelines and closures they are in place for your safety.
It’s a great day to get some turns in!

Daily Details
- The Olympic Chair, Thunderhead Chair and the Magic Carpet are scheduled for operation from 9am to 4pm.
- Daily lift tickets and rentals are available to purchase ONLINE. Save time and money by creating your account and making purchases on our e-store.
- Tickets today are $75 for Adults (25-69), $65 for Young Adults (18-24), $60 for Teens (13-17), $50 for Children (8-12), $40 for Seniors (70+), and $10 Season Pass for Tiny Tots (7 & under) and 5th Graders.
- Save $10 when you purchase online and in advance.
- Muley’s Bar will be open 10:30 am-5 pm, the Grill 10:30-4 pm, Mighty Bites Cafeteria and Blacktail Bean (located in the cafeteria) will be open 8 am-4 pm.
- The rental shop will be open from 8:30 am-4 pm.
- The Blacktail Trading Co. retail shop will be open from 9:00 am-4:30 pm.
- Snow Sports Lessons are available at the window 30 minutes prior to the start of the lesson and there is availability online for future dates.
