Summer Seasonal Staff: 2025

Positions will generally be June through September. We are now hiring for full time employees only (40 hours/week). All summer staff positions will work outdoors in variable conditions. Our ideal candidate is a team player with strong work ethic and a passion for outdoor recreation.

Summer Trail Crew: This crew will work with the Mountain Operations team on slope and trail maintenance. This position will include summer projects associated with building maintenance as well on rainy days. Applicants should be mechanically inclined and experience with chainsaws is preferred. This is a Monday through Thursday 10 hour shift.

Off Road Vehicle Mechanic: We have only one opening for this position. The primary task of this position will be to maintain a small fleet of Off Road Vehicles and will also support our vehicle maintenance team with seasonal maintenance on our winter equipment. This is a Thursday through Monday 40 hour per week shift.

Winter Seasonal Staff

Positions are generally from December through April. For most positions, the normal work week is Wednesday through Sunday with additional shifts required on Holidays. Below you will find a brief description of each position. Applications will be live this fall.

Lift Operations – Operators perform startup and shutdown at their lift station according to training provided by their supervisor, including the completion of daily logs.  Ongoing responsibilities include but are not limited to ticket checking, chair loading, ramp maintenance, unloading observation, and safety. Applicants must be energetic, show attention to detail, and be able to work outside all day.  

Snow Sports – Our snow sports staff provides skiing and snowboarding lessons to students of all ages and abilities. Applicants must be able to ski/snowboard at an intermediate level or above. Position requires communication skills, teamwork, love of the sport, and a desire to share it. We are a member school of the PSIA-AASI, certification is available. Prior experience and certification are not required but are preferred.

Patrol – Applicants must be able to ski/snowboard at an intermediate level or above. Must be a team player, capable of enforcing ski area policy and maintaining safe slopes through trail maintenance and emergency response. We are a Quick Response Unit and require EMT/Paramedic/OEC certification.

Scanner-Must be able to stand outside in winter weather for a full shift using a scanning gun to scan each guest lift access card at top and/or bottom of each lift. Acts as ambassador to the Mountain by answering questions, assisting with lift line flow when needed, lost and found and communicating with other Ski Area departments. 

Parking Attendant – This weekend and holiday position requires employees to direct inbound traffic and enforce parking lot regulations and rules with a smile. Answer questions from guests, record incidents, disabled vehicle calls while keeping fire lanes, handicapped lanes and helicopter zones clear with signage and a sense of kind authority. Also required to shovel and clear lodge entry doors of snow and apply

Ticket Office – Position operates the Point of Sale system and is the front line of service for our guests. Applicants must be personable and computer literate and perform well under pressure while maintaining a high degree of accuracy for guest orders, requests, season pass and ticket sales. 

Retail Shop – The position will operate Point of Sale as cashier and clerk in our retail store. The applicant must be computer-literate and friendly. 

Rental Shop – Rental shop techs work closely with our guests to quickly get them fitted and onto the hill. The position requires mechanical aptitude, excellent record keeping, and a helpful demeanor. Experience preferred but not required.
