Join us July 11–12 for the inaugural Blacktail Mountain Archery Festival at Blacktail Mountain!
We’re excited to announce that Rinehart Targets has signed on as the event’s Summit Sponsor. Every archer will spend the weekend shooting premium Rinehart targets across all three mountain courses and the practice range.

Early Bird Registration: $145 (through June 30)
Regular Registration: $165 (beginning July 1)
This event is built for archers of all skill levels.
Event Schedule:
Friday 4 PM: Campsite is open for check-in
Saturday & Sunday: Courses open from 8 AM until 4 PM
Saturday Afternoon: Summit Shoot-out 4 Archer Team Competition
Saturday Night: Archers dinner in Muley’s Bar
Sunday 4 PM: Awards
Sunday 6 PM: Campsites close
Food & Beverage Operations:
- Blacktail Bean & Cafeteria will be open Saturday and Sunday from 7 am until 2 pm serving breakfast, lunch, and espresso.
- Muleys Bar will be open Saturday and Sunday for lunch beginning at 11 am.
- Saturday night: 3 meat Archers buffet dinner is available! If you book ahead of time, the meal will come with a drink ticket.
- Beer Garden: Tamaracks Am-Bru-Lance will be serving beer from 10 am until 4 pm daily in Vendor village
Summit Shoot-Out:
This cash prize competition will take place on the Black Diamond course located primarily in Crystal Country. This course will be open to all archers Saturday morning prior to the competition. COMPLETE RULES FOR COMP
General Competition Information
- Teams consist of 4 archers.
- The combined score of all four team members determines the team score.
- Cash prizes will be awarded to the top three teams.
- 30 IBO 3D targets.
- Unknown distances (approximately 20–80 yards).
- No age classes, flight classes, or handicaps.
- Every team member must sign the rule acknowledgment before competing.
- Teams will be divided in half and paired with another team and each team will keep a score card for the group to compare and submit together.
