Kick off 2025 Winterfest in Lakeside with a day full of fun, friendly competition, and unforgettable family moments at the Family Cup Race Event! Gather your crew and hit the slopes for a race designed to bring families together on the mountain. Family Cup Ski Races will be held Saturday, February 1st.
Event Details
- Check-in & On-site Registration: 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM at Mighty Bites Cafeteria Please register your family online HERE to save time on race day!
- Family Cup Ski & Snowboard Races: 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM
- Awards Ceremony: 4:00 PM at Muley’s Bar
Family Groupings:
We welcome all kinds of family teams! Each team can have up to 6 members and may include:
- Parents
- Parents & Children
- Siblings
- Grandparents & Children
- Combined (any mix of family members, max 6 per family)
No family? No problem! You can enter with your friend family, mountain family, or anyone you call your crew—because it’s all about having fun together on the slopes! Register in the combined class only.
The Family Cup Race promises fun for all ages and welcomes most skill levels (designed for confident wedge turners and above) .
For your safety, and the safety of our racers, NO FOOT TRAFFIC TO THE RACE ALLOWED. All non-skiers are welcome to join us for the awards ceremony after the races, where we’ll celebrate the fastest families and best moments of the day.
