Alpine Bambis

The goal of Alpine Bambis is to foster a love of skiing and the outdoors for beginner and novice skiers who are 4 years old. In order to create a fun learning environment, play is encouraged to promote retention and focus during the lesson. Alpine Bambis is a four-lesson package available to start in January, February, or March. Each of the four lessons occurs on the same day of the week, and students can choose either Thursdays, Saturdays, or Sundays. Each ski-only lesson is one hour long and starts at 9am.

Program Details

  • Students must be 4 years old by December 1st, 2024.
  • Alpine Bambis is for skiers only.
  • Program includes rentals for the day of the lesson.
  • Beginner is defined as no experience or cannot yet stop and turn.
  • Novice is defined as at a minimum, stopping and turning both ways confidently.

Alpine Young Fawns

The Alpine Young Fawns program is specifically designed for beginner and novice children ages 5-6 and focuses on safety, fun, and learning while fostering a love of the sport and the outdoors. This program is a four-lesson package that is available to start in January, February, or March. Each of the four lessons occurs on the same day of the week, and students can choose either Thursdays, Saturdays, or Sundays. Each ski-only lesson is two hours long and starts at 10:30 am for beginner skiers and 1:30 pm for novice skiers.

Snowboard Young Fawns

Young Bucks Technical Team

The Young Bucks Alpine Technical Team is specifically designed for intermediate to advanced skiers ages 10-13 who are ready to take their skiing to the next level. The class focus will be fine-tuning parallel skiing skills, ungroomed, steeper terrain, and effective use of poles. This program is a four-lesson package that is available to start in January, February, or March. Each of the four lessons occurs on the same day of the week, and students can choose either Thursdays, Saturdays, or Sundays. Each Young Bucks Alpine Technical Team lesson is five hours long and starts at 9:30am.

Alpine & Snowboard Cadets

Cadets is a five-hour program for advanced-level skiers and snowboarders aged 13-15 who are interested in working in the snowsports industry. Students will follow a Professional Ski Instructors of America Junior Instructor program and get hands-on experience teaching children how to ski and ride. Students will learn about Mountain Operations, Food and Beverage, Ski Patrol and more! This program takes place at 9:30 am for eight weeks. There is a $25 fee for the PSIA/AASI Jr Instructor Certificate, not included.

  • Students must be 13 years old by December 1st, 2024.
  • Equipment Rental and Day Lift Access are sold separately.
  • Students should, at a minimum, be able to ski parallel on Blue terrain.
  • $25 fee for the PSIA/AASI Jr Instructor Certificate is not included.
